Kernow Fixings

The enlargement of an existing steel portal framed industrial building for additional storage space over two storeys. This project also involved internal alterations and followed previous designs and applications for the formation of an additional floor for offices and storage.

The alterations also incorporated stringent fire regulation design requirements.

Trees and hard landscaping features were incorporated as part of the building designs, to help break up the increased length of the building. New hedges and planting were specified to comply with planning requirements.

The extension also required the purchase of additional areas of adjoining land, which required specific Land Registry detail plans in dealing with their strict procedures for registering land.

Status: Building works completed on site.
