Cottage Extension

After a fire in the garage of this cottage, the clients to decided take the opportunity to extend upwards with a first floor extension over the existing garage providing an additional two en-suite bedrooms to their home. Robert Rowett Architectural Services helped assess the existing structure to ascertain whether an additional storey could be easily added. The design has received planning permission and Building Regulations approval.






South Torfrey Barns

As part of an ongoing farm diversification programme, this project was to convert one of many redundant stone barns to a holiday cottage.

Barn Conversion, Luxulyan

A series of connected barns converted to form one three bedroom house. New roofs were designed in a traditional way so that inside the rafters and purlins are exposed below the ceiling.
